Gingerbread Man Marshmallows
Marshmallow Pops are one of my favorite recipes. We just got through with the Turkey Pops and we also have the Snowman Marshmallow Pops.
But the Gingerbread Man Marshmallows I think are the most fun. You can draw facial expressions on them and they can be cute, mad, sad or whatever you want them to be. They are easy to make and everyone will love them.Individually package them or poke them all in a styrofoam brick for people to grab. However you serve them, they will be a hit.
What’s Needed for Gingerbread Man Marshmallow Pops
- Large Marshmallows
- Butterscotch Discs/Melts
(any flavor could be used)
- Sucker Sticks
- Black edible marker
or White Icing Writer
- Candy eyes
- Assortment of candies/sprinkles (candy balls
, hearts
, flowers
)
- Foam block
(to hold the pops while drying)
How to Make Marshmallow Gingerbread Men
Insert sucker sticks into bottom of Marshmallows.
Now take your butterscotch discs and put in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds, then stir. Continue to do this until discs are all melted.
Dip each marshmallow into the melted butterscotch discs, tap on side to remove excess.
Insert pop into the foam block.
Let cool for just a minute or two before adding your candies. This will allow the candies to stick without falling off.
Once all pops are dry, take either your black edible marker or your white icing writer and draw the smiles on!
They are ready to be served or stored in an airtight container!
