Halos Valentine Love Bugs

Halos Mandarin Valentine Love Bugs

I don't know about your house, but everyone in ours loves Halos Mandarins. And why wouldn't they, they are sweet, seedless, and are easy to peel. Even the little one's can peel their own.

Valentine's Day is quickly approaching. We are celebrating our 26th wedding anniversary on Valentine's Day and my granddaughter wanted to make us something special.

The Valentine Love Bugs are simple to make out of the Halos Mandarins and the kids will want to make one for everyone they know.

Supplies Needed

• Halos mandarins
• Foam hearts in two sizes, large and small
• Toothpicks
• Googly eyes
• Glitter glue
• Glue spots

How to Make Valentine Love Bugs

Start by placing a glue dot on the large heart. Place under the Mandarin as "feet".

Place a foam heart on the end of each of two toothpicks.

Stick the toothpicks into the top of the Halos.

Use the glue dots if needed to stick on the eyes.

Add a touch of glitter glue for the nose.

Give one to each of your favorite people.
