Baked Chicken Jambalaya Ingredients
- Andouille sausage, thinly sliced
- Vegetable oil
- Chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- Creole seasoning (depending on your preferred spice level)
- Red bell pepper, diced
- Green bell pepper, diced
- Onion, diced
- Garlic, minced
- White rice, prepared
- Tomato sauce
- Cheddar jack cheese

How to Make Oven Baked Jambalaya
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
Warm a large skillet over medium heat and add the sausage. Cook until browned, around 5 minutes.
Remove the sausage from the pan and add the oil.
Deglaze the pan, then add the chicken, bell pepper, onion, and garlic.
Season with the creole seasoning.
Saute until the chicken is cooked through, then remove the pan from heat.
Stir in the rice, tomato sauce, and half the cheese.
Transfer the mixture to a greased 9x13 baking dish and top with remaining cheese.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until the cheese on top, is melted and the sauce is bubbling.

- Tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1.5 pounds chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1-2 tablespoons creole seasoning (depending on your preferred spice level)
- Red bell pepper, diced
- Green bell pepper, diced
- Small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup white rice, prepared
- 8-ounce can tomato sauce
- 2 cups cheddar jack cheese
Instructions
