How to Make This Hearty Casserole
Spray the crockpot with nonstick cooking spray or use a slow cooker liner.
Mix together the soup, diced onion, and milk.
Place half of the bag of frozen hash browns in the bottom of the crockpot.
Next, place the chicken breasts on top.
Sprinkle half the bag of frozen mixed vegetables.
Spread half of the soup mixture on top of that.
Sprinkle half of the cheese over the top.
Layer the rest of the bag of frozen hash browns on top, the rest of the frozen vegetables, soup mixture, and shredded cheese.
Cook on low for 8- 10 hours or high for 4-5 hours.
Oven Baked Crack Chicken Casserole Version
Ingredients
- Rotisserie chicken or leftover chicken
- Sour cream
- Cream of chicken soup
- Hash brown potatoes
- Frozen Green beans or Mixed vegetables, or broccoli, etc.
- Small chopped onion
- Shredded Mozzarella cheese and Shredded cheddar cheese - Reserve a cup of cheese for the top.
- Milk
- Green onions
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Nonstick cooking spray

How to Make Oven-Baked Chicken Hashbrown Casserole
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Spray a 9x13 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
In a large bowl mix together soup, diced onion, sour cream, and milk.
Once all incorporated, combine hash browns and cooked chicken and add to the mixture.
Spread evenly in the prepared baking dish.
Top with a baked corn flake topper if you prefer by mixing 2 cups of crushed corn flakes and 4 Tablespoons of melted butter.
Bake at 350 degrees F for one hour.
Remove from oven and add the remaining shredded cheese.
Put back in oven for 5-10 minutes or until golden brown.
