Do They Make Chocolate Cool Whip

As a matter of fact, they do make a chocolate cool whip. And it would be a great substitution for regular in this recipe.

I have also read that they also at some point make peppermint whipped cream. That is, if you can find it.

Can I Use Different Whipped Cream

Absolutely not! Cool Whip is made with different ingredients than regular whipped cream. So if you swap it out, it won’t set correctly.

However, you can use an off-brand such as Aldi or Great Value.

Copycat 3 Muskateers Candy Bar

If you omit the peppermint extract and crushed peppermint candy, this will taste just like a 3 Muskateers candy bar.

It is also known as three ingredient cool whip candy.

How To Store Cool Whip Candy

I like to store mine in the freezer in an airtight container or Ziploc bag. This helps to keep the refrigerator taste out of it.

How Do You Make Cool Whip Candy

Place 3 1/2 cups of the milk chocolate chips in a large microwave-safe bowl. Melt in 30-second increments, stirring between each increment, until the chocolate is melted.

Add the Cool Whip and peppermint extract to the bowl and beat the ingredients together with a hand mixer until smooth.

Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with plastic wrap and spread the mixture in an even layer across the pan.

Cover the pan with another layer of plastic wrap and place in the freezer to chill for at least 30 minutes.

Pull the mixture from the pan using the plastic wrap and flip it over onto a cutting board. Cut the bars into one-inch squares using a sharp knife.

Working in batches, place a piece of candy on a fork and spoon the melted chocolate over the top until it’s fully coated.
