Air Fryer Cilantro Lime Chicken Wings with Oven Option

air fryer Chicken Wings are the first thing I made in my Air Fryer when I got it. Being from Buffalo and transplanted to Florida, we missed our good old Buffalo Chicken Wings.

So that meant only one thing....I had to replicate them. Which wasn't hard to do by the way since we owned a pizzeria in Buffalo, lol.

With so many different flavors of chicken wings to choose from, I'm not sure which one is my family's favorite. Plus, there are different ways to make them.

We shared the Instant Pot Buffalo Wings and Instant Pot Sesame Garlic Wings if you would rather do it that way. However we also shared the Air Fryer Cajun Chicken Wings with the oven option as well.

These Cilantro Lime Wings also have the oven baked version if you prefer to do them in the oven. Any of these ways are much healthier than deep frying them and when you make them at home, you are also saving money. Plus you can make a different version for each family member if need be. 😉 So whether you make them in an air fryer, Ninja Foodie or instant pot, they are sure to be a hit.

Chicken with Cilantro Recipe Ingredients:

Chicken wings
Lime juice
Olive oil
Cilantro
Oregano
Salt
Black pepper
Cumin
Garlic powder

How to Air Fry Cilantro Lime Wings

Preheat air fryer to 400° for 5 minutes.
Chop Cilantro.

In a large bowl, mix all ingredients.

Add chicken wings to the bowl.

Place single layer in preheated air fryer.
Time for 15 minutes. Flip for another 15 minutes. (leave in for 20 each side if frozen).
Top with additional cilantro if desired.
Finally, enjoy with Blue Cheese, Ranch, Hot sauce or your favorite chicken wing sauce.

Oven Baked Cilantro Lime Chicken Wings Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
In a large bowl, mix all ingredients.
Add chicken to a baking pan. Cook for 45 minutes, or until desired level of crunchiness is achieved.
Top with additional cilantro if desired, serve.
