3 Christmas Cocktails Recipes
I'm always looking for some fun Christmas Cocktails recipes and today we are sharing 3 of our favorites. We have many more we'd like to share, however, we can only drink so many in one day, 😉.
Here we have the Christmas morning Mimosa aka Apple Pie Mimosa, Peppermint Eggnog aka Candy Cane Cocktail and the Jack Frost Cocktail aka a winter version of the Blue Hawaiian.
Each recipe makes one drink but you can always double or triple it if you'd like.
Christmas morning Mimosa aka Apple Pie Mimosa
What better way to start Christmas than with a Christmas morning Mimosa which is also known as an Apple Pie Mimosa. Whatever you call it, you will enjoy it!
- 1.5 oz Apple Pie Moonshine
- 2 oz Ginger Ale
- 1.5 oz Orange Juice
Pour everything into a shaker. Shake and then pour over ice.
Peppermint Eggnog aka Candy Cane Christmas Cocktails
You can make your own Candy Cane Vodka or purchase the Peppermint Vodka. Whichever you choose, you will get the same results.
- 1.5 oz Candy Cane (Peppermint) Vodka
- 3 oz Eggnog
- Whipped Cream
- Crushed candy cane
For this drink, just mix the eggnog with the Peppermint (Candy Cane) Vodka in a glass. Top with Whipped cream and crushed candy canes.
Enjoy!
Jack Frost Cocktail aka a winter version of the Blue Hawaiian
The Blue Hawaiian is my favorite summer drink. So when I saw that I could make a winter version of it by adding cream of coconut, you know I was in.
- ½ cup each of blue curacao, coconut rum, and cream of coconut
- 1 cup pineapple-coconut v-8 splash (you can use regular Pineapple juice if you can't find the V-8 Splash)
- 2 cups ice
- simple syrup or honey for rim
- crushed coconut for rim
Place everything in the blender and turn it on. You can add more ice until you reach the desired consistency that you like.
Dip rim of glass in honey or simple syrup, then into the coconut. Pour into glass and serve immediately.
Enjoy!
