A fun Valentine Love Monster Cupcake Recipe that looks like a rugged monster that is perfect for the class or office party.
Valentine Love Monster Cupcake Recipe
With Valentine's Day next month, now is the time to start planning ahead. After all, we plan 3 sometimes 4 months ahead for Christmas. When you think about it, one month is hardly any time, lol.
Today we are sharing a fun Valentine Love Monster Cupcake Recipe. I love Valentine's Day almost as much as Christmas probably because it's also our wedding anniversary. I know, I know, most people think that's corny but it all started with a heart shaped engagement ring.
Valentine’s Day! What a great day for romantics at heart! Any excuse to celebrate a day of l’amour is in my opinion, a good excuse and on the 14th February cards, flowers and the whole love thing will be celebrated for many with romance and style and cupcakes!
Valentine Cupcake Ingredients
- 8 Strawberry Cupcakes, unfrosted
- 1 can Vanilla Frosting
- 16 Gummy Heart Candies
- 16 Edible Eyes
- Red Sugar
- Pink Food Coloring
- Tiny Heart Sprinkles
- Toothpicks
Monster Cupcake Directions
First poke a toothpick into each of the gummy hearts so the heart is at the top of the toothpick.
Color half the frosting pink and leave the other half white. Put each color into a piping bag with a star type tip and as you pipe on dots of frosting, pull up with the bag so it looks like ragged fur on a monster.
If you don’t have a piping bag, you can use a knife and frost them messy, and pull up the same way. Frost some white and some pink.
Poke 2 of the toothpick hearts into the top of each cupcake to one side to look like monster ears.
Place 2 eyes and a little heart nose on the top, front side of each cupcake.
Sprinkle red sugar on each white frosted cupcake.
Super easy and fun treat for Valentine’s Day parties!
