Dawn
How long will the bananas hold up on the cake? Before turning brown.
Mary
The bananas will turn brown from baking. Putting them in lemon juice will keep them from turning brown while waiting to put them in the batter.
Mary
The bananas will start turning brown in about a day. However, you can soak them in lemon juice or a carbonated beverage such as sprite and they will last a little longer.
