I'm not sure who liked the Crayola Paper Flower Science Kit more, the kids or the adults. Don't get me wrong, the kids really enjoyed it but I thought it was the coolest thing since putting celery in colored water when I was in grade school. 😂

What is the Crayola STEAM Kit

This kit teaches about how water moves through things and how it moves through flowers in this STEAM kit. In order to make the ones with the black tips, we put them in clear water and it took the colors away. 😊

You can also see how drawing on it with the crayon affects the colors.

The colors are safe and non-toxic and it really shouldn't be considered a toy because it's so educational. Being a STEAM kit, it's perfect for playing and home learning.

You can draw on the flowers and make designs that don't absorb the colors. It comes with everything you need including a white crayon, markers, the ink, a color mixing guide, cores, flower pots, flower pot covers, petal funnels and paper petals.

How it Works

You start by punching out the flowers and putting them together. Next you add 20 drops of ink to make the colors of your choice and add it to the flower pots. Then add water to the pots and watch the flowers bloom with colors.

Watching the color make it's way up in the paper flowers is mesmerizing. If you run out of paper petals, you can always use white coffee filters until you get more.
