I'll be the first to admit that I was never good at any of those games where you lose if you look away, or you lose if you crack a smile. But I'm always up for a challenge.

Well, the Don't Laugh Challenge Joke Books is a game that make it even harder because you aren't just sitting there "not" having to laugh, but the other person is telling you jokes while not having to laugh.

Of course I always lose! 🙁

We received three different books. The Don't Laugh Challenge Stocking Stuffer Edition (Christmas edition!), The Don't Laugh Challenge Halloween Edition, and The Try Not to Laugh Challenge - Would You Rather? - EWW Edition.

The Don't Laugh Challenge Halloween Edition

Let's start with the Halloween Edition of The Don't Laugh Challenge books. This is the perfect addition to our Halloween Gift Guide.

I like to get the kids something other than candy. Even though there might not be any trick or treating door to door, there will still be trunk-n-treats and other things where they are sure to get candy.

Made for ages 6 - 12, two participants go back and forth telling the jokes. The object of the game is to get the other person to laugh or even crack a smile. If they do, the joke teller gets a point.

What do you call a witch that likes to play at the beach? A sandwitch!

The first person to get three points is the winner.

The Don't Laugh Challenge Stocking Stuffer Edition is perfect for a stocking stuffer for kids ages 6 to 12.

The difference with this one is that you win when you get five points instead of three.

The family will have fun sitting around telling jokes all day long. I bet that every time you turn around, there will be someone by your side telling you a new joke.

Are clams strong? No, but mussels are!

A great way to get kids away from the computers and reading.

The Try Not to Laugh Challenge - Would You Rather? - EWW Edition

The Would You Rather? - EWW Edition book is by far my favorite. It actually makes you stop and think about what you rather do. And there are some pretty gross questions in the book.

Would you rather have 8 eyes like a spider, or 6 limbs like a cockroach?

It includes 160+ hilarious, creepy-crawly, ooey-gooey, and smelly questions that are guaranteed to make you stop, think, and giggle!

Once you pick your choice of what you would rather do, you then have to explain why you chose that. If the other person cracks a smile or laughs at your answer then you get a laugh point.

Would you rather drink someone else's snot, or eat someone else's earwax?

At the end of the game, the person with the most laugh points is the winner and the "Laugh Master"!

It says the book is for ages 6 to 12 but honestly, it's great for teenagers and adults too.
