Italian Roll-ups Recipe
It’s National “Italian Food” Day! Of course, no one said you had to break out the pots and pans and whip up a fancy Italian dinner.
You can celebrate the holiday with a simple roll-up that you and your kids will love.
These Italian roll-ups are so easy to make and make a great lunch.
Just lay your ingredients out and roll them into a cigar. You can then slice them into smaller bites or eat as is.
If you want, you can even serve these with an Italian dipping sauce.
Use your favorite Italian meats and cheeses to make these your own.
Serve with a peanut butter and jelly cupcake for dessert and you're all set.
Italian Cream Cheese Roll-Ups Ingredients
- 4-5 Flour Tortillas, burrito size
- 9 oz. pkg. Sliced Ham
- 9 oz. pkg. Sliced Salami
- 1 pkg. Pepperoni
- 20 Slices Provolone Cheese
- 8 oz. Cream Cheese
- 1-2 tsp. Italian Seasoning (I have also used Everything But the Bagel Seasoning)
- 1 Red Onion, sliced thin in rings
- 3 Tomatoes, sliced thin
- 1 Jar Mild Pepper Rings
- Lettuce
How to make Italian Ham Pinwheels
Mix the Italian seasoning or Everything but the Bagel seasoning into the cream cheese and spread a thin layer on each tortilla.
Layer on about 5 tomato slices, 5 pieces of onion, some lettuce, and 6-7 pepper rings.
Next, layer on the meats. I put on 3-4 slices each of ham and salami and scatter some pepperoni’s around.
Lay 4 pieces of provolone cheese on top.
Roll the tortilla up as tight as you can. You can poke a couple of toothpicks through it to help hold it if you would like.
Cut in half and serve.
You could also cut these in smaller pieces and serve them as an appetizer instead.
Delicious and easy to make!
