Best Instant Pot Chili Recipe No Beans
Do you love chili, but don't have the time to babysit a pot on the stove all day? Then you need to try this delicious best instant pot chili recipe!
The great chili debate is on...beans or no beans is the question!
I've always been a bean person, mainly because that's how my mom always made it.
However, my husband..not so much. He's just not a bean kind of guy.
But ya know...beans, beans, they're good for the heart! Beans, beans, the more you eat, the more you.....You get my drift, lol.

Plus is super easy thanks in part because my pressure cooker (Ninja Foodi) does all the work for me and it's made with simple ingredients.
All I have left are chores around here - like washing dishes or changing out backgrounds on photos from family vacations decades ago (don't ask).
Plus, it's so much cheaper and healthier than buying pre-made chili at the store. Give it a try today!

How to Make Chili in the Instant Pot Without Burning It
The majority of the time when you get a burn signal is because there were bits of food still stuck to the bottom of the pot before you added the liquids.
In order to avoid the dreaded "burn" error, be sure to scrape the bottom of the instant pot really well with a wooden spatula to get the bits and pieces off from sauteing the ground beef and onions.
Why is Instant Pot Chili Watery
Your instant pot chili is watery most likely because when you remove the cover, all the built-up steam goes right back in the pot.
If it's too watery, you can either put the Ninja Foodi on saute and let some of the liquid evaporate or add the can of tomato paste to help thicken it.
I also like to add some egg noodles to help absorb the liquid and make the chili more filling.
Is Chili Better the Longer it Cooks
Any food is going to taste better when the flavors marry together. I like to make things the day before and place them in the refrigerator overnight so the flavors meld together.
No matter what I make, main dishes, dips, or stews, they always taste better the next day..including instant pot chili!
How to Make Instant Pot Chili Without Beans
Turn the Instant Pot on to Saute mode. Add in hamburger and onion, cooking through.
Add the tomatoes, cumin, chili powder, and curry powder.
Pour beef broth to the Instant Pot.
Without stirring, add the lid to the Instant Pot, ensuring the valve is set to the SEALING MODE.
How Long to Cook Chili in Instant Pot
Turn the Instant Pot on by hitting the CHILI/BEAN BUTTON and adjusting the time to set to 12 minutes. Allow the Instant Pot to cook and release naturally. Once there is no more steam you can set the valve to release.
Open the pot and stir together.
If the chili isn't as thick as you'd like, add in the tomato paste and stir to ensure the tomato paste breaks down and heats through.
Serve and enjoy!
In Conclusion
This recipe for the best chili will make your taste buds tingle with anticipation. It’s so chunky and hearty, yet still comfortingly warm on a cool day!
And it only takes minutes of hands-on time—just throw everything into an easy cooker pot to do all work while you sit back enjoying this amazing meal.
I PROMISE YOU: IT'S WONDERFUL!!!
