How to Make Instant Pot Shredded Chicken Nachos Recipe
Add your chicken broth to the bottom of the Instant Pot.
Next, place your chicken breasts in the pot.
Sprinkle the taco seasoning on top of the chicken breasts.
Add your frozen green peppers and onions. (or fresh if using fresh.)
Place the lid on the pressure cooker and make sure it's in the sealed position.
Set the time for 12 minutes. 15 minutes if using frozen chicken breasts.
Once the time is done, do a quick release. Be careful not to get burned by the steam.
Shred the chicken with two forks. Mix together and let it sit for a few minutes to absorb the juices.
Place your taco chips in containers or on a cookie sheet.
Top with the shredded chicken, cheese, salsa, and other toppings of your choosing.
If using paper containers as I did, place them in the microwave to melt the cheese.
If using a sheet pan, place it under the broiler in the oven for about 5 minutes.
Top with sour cream and enjoy!
