It has an amazing balance of sweet and savory flavors with buttery cornbread pieces atop the delicious chili mixture.

- Small onion, diced
- Diced tomatoes with green chilies
- Chili beans
- Tomato sauce
- Chili seasoning (I used McCormick)
- Shredded cheddar jack cheese
- Pillsbury cornbread swirls

How to Make Chili Cornbread Casserole Recipe
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Spray a 2-quart baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
Brown the ground beef in a large skillet with the onion.
When the meat is cooked, add the diced tomatoes with chilies, chili beans, tomato sauce, and chili seasoning. Stir until all the ingredients are well mixed.
Pour the chili mixture into the prepared baking dish.
Top with the shredded cheese.
Slice each cornbread swirl in half lengthwise and place the pieces on top of the cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for 18 to 20 minutes, until the chili is bubbling and the cornbread is golden brown.

- 1 packet chili seasoning (I used McCormick)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar jack cheese
