Chili Cheese Tater Tot Casserole
Whenever we go to a restaurant, and there are tots on the menu, it's a definite that we will be ordering them. I don't know what it is, but they are good.
So, I figured I would come up with a Chili Cheese Tater Tot Casserole recipe that we can make at home whenever we have a tot craving. And it can be made using chili with or without beans.
Easy to make and a recipe that everyone will love and request more often.

Tater Tot Chili Cheese Fries Ingredients
- Ground beef
- Small onion, chopped
- Chili beans
- Tomato sauce
- Diced tomato with green chilies
- Chili seasoning
- Shredded cheddar jack cheese
- Frozen tater tots
- Nonstick cooking spray
- Salt

How to Make Chili Cheese Casserole
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
In a large skillet, brown the ground beef with the onion.
When the beef is cooked through, stir in the chili beans, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes with green chilies, and chili seasoning.
Spread the chili mixture in a 9x13 baking dish.
Top with one cup of shredded cheese.
Spread the tater tots in an even layer over the top of the casserole. Spray the tater tots with nonstick cooking spray and season with salt.
Bake in the preheated oven for 35 minutes. When the tater tots are crisp, remove from the oven and sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
Return the casserole dish to the oven and bake for an additional five minutes, until the cheese is melted.

- 15-ounce can tomato sauce
- 10-ounce can diced tomato with green chilies
- Packet chili seasoning
- 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar jack cheese
- 32-ounce package frozen tater tots
- Nonstick cooking spray
- Salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef with the onion.
- When the beef is cooked through, stir in the chili beans, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes with green chilies, and chili seasoning.
