Incrediwear Hip Brace Review
When I originally received the email from Incrediwear, I had glanced at it and flagged it for later review but didn’t think much about it. After a couple of weeks, I was looking for ways to control my hip pain that seemed to be worsening.
I had seen my primary Doctor in June and we had discussed it but since I had attributed it to needing a knee replacement, we didn’t really talk about it too much. I had an appointment with my ortho to schedule surgery for my knee.
Once at my ortho Dr. we went over where the pain was and he said I didn’t knee replacement just yet. 🥴 As much as I didn’t want it, I wanted my pain to go away.
Turns out I have bursitis in my hip as well as sciatica. Great! But since I was living with it for almost a year, I figured I would just continue on with my life.
Pain Takes a Turn for the Worse
Once we left Kansas (that’s where my Dr.’s are located), we headed for New York for the summer. We are full time RVers so we don’t stay in one place all the time. We have family across the country so it works well for us.
We have a piece of land where we stay for the summer. Trouble is it’s very uneven. I’m not sure if that contributed to the pain worsening or the weather (it’s not always warm here) but whatever it is….the pain got bad.
The pain was so bad that I asked my sister for one of my mom’s old walkers. I felt very unsteady when I walked and falling is the last thing I want to do.
Incrediwear Hip Brace to the Rescue
I emailed the person that originally emailed me and asked if I could get the Incrediwear Hip Brace for review and add it to my Holiday Gift Guide. I know you are probably thinking that’s an odd thing to include in a gift guide, but really it isn’t. More on that later.
In order to get the correct size, you measure your thigh at the widest part. Then look at the chart and figure the size you need. I couldn’t wait until it got here as I was excited about it and the possibility of it helping my pain and feeling better.

Does The Hip Brace Help
I wore the Incrediwear Hip Brace for a couple of weeks before writing this review so that I had enough information. Incrediwear is supposed to be worn 24/7 for about 4-6 weeks until you feel your pain subsiding. You can wear it during and after any activity because it’s very comfortable and does not bind.
I am walking with great improvement and while the pain is not gone, it has gone down considerably. I also like the fact that it doesn’t show under my clothes. The brace does not need to compress to work. Available in right and left hip. I have very long legs so it doesn’t come as far down on my leg as it looks in the picture on their website.
From their website:
Our technology incorporates semiconductor elements within our fabric that releases negative ions when stimulated by body heat. The negative ions activate cellular vibrations that increase blood flow and speed. Increasing circulation helps bring more oxygen and nutrients to the target area, which optimizes the body’s natural healing process and accelerates post-operative recovery.
Why We are Including It In Our Gift Guide
We have family members that won’t purchase things like that no matter how much they need it. Take for instance my 90 year old mother in law. She could use a knee brace. But she won’t buy it for herself. So, I would totally get her one for Christmas or her birthday. Because really…she doesn’t NEED anything at the age of 90. And it’s something she would use.
Other Incrediwear Products
After I requested the Hip Brace, I noticed that they have many other Incrediwear items I could use. I have type 2 diabetes and have tingling in my feet. They have circulation socks that would help with that. I also could use the knee sleeve as I have a baker’s cyst behind my knee. (I know, I turned 60 and I’m falling apart!)
