Relative Insanity Adult Party Game Review - Are You Insane Enough to Play
Christmas isn't just for kids. So there should be adult games under the tree as well as kid's games like the Disney Game Edition of 5 Second Rule.
PlayMonster's Relative Insanity Adult Party Game by Jeff Foxworthy should be at the top of the list.
If you've heard the comedian Jeff Foxworthy before, then you know the questions will be a lot of fun. Or should I say...the answers will be hilarious.
He designed the questions around the insanity of his family.
As much as the kids wanted to play with the adults, some of the questions are inappropriate for them as they pertain to sex or drugs.
The suggested age is 14 and older and 4 to 12 players can play. The more you have, the more fun it will be.
What's Included in the Box
Included are 500 cards. 400 of the cards are "punch line cards" that are possible responses that can be used to the "setup cards" like "It's really, really, wet!" 😂
There are 100 "setup cards" which include questions where you finish the sentence. For example; At the end of my cousin Mary's psychiatric examination, the Dr. wrote....
Playing the Game
- Start by setting up the red setup cards face down.
- Deal seven yellow punch line cards to each player.
- The insane person that owns the game goes first.
- Once the question is asked, the other players then choose a card from their hand and place it face down in front of the person asking the question.
- The player then chooses one card that they think is the funniest answer.
- The person that gave that card gets the setup card and gets one point.
Who Wins
The first person to collect five setup cards is the most insane person winner!
Is Relative Insanity a Clean Game
Let's just say that it's cleaner than some of the games out there.
Some of the questions are pretty crazy indeed. It's possible that if you removed some of the very suggestable cards that ages 10-14 could play with the adults, but there are many games out there that are better suitable for that age group.
When my cousin Ronnie saw his wife naked for the first time, he couldn't help but exclaim...
And in reply to this, you could use the punch line card "That thing has seen better days!" 😂
We all realized that she might need to go to rehab when right in the middle of the church Aunt Edna stood up and shouted...
You could reply with "your ass is grass and I'm the lawnmower!" 😳
