This is my favorite school lunch cookie bars recipe. With each bite you get chocolate chips and peanut butter that will delight everyone’s taste buds. There won’t be no disappointment there. Whether you’re looking for a quick and easy last minute potluck dessert, or a let’s not heat up the kitchen dessert, the No Bake Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Cookie Bars Recipe is a sure bet. 

And since today is National Peanut Butter Lovers Day, this is the perfect way to celebrate it. Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Bars No Bake Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 cups graham crumbs
  • Two cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 Tablespoon coconut oil or shortening, optional

How to make the Peanut Butter Squares School Lunch recipe

1. Line or grease a 9×9 casserole pan and set aside.
 
2. In a medium-sized bowl, combine the butter, crumbs, sugar and peanut butter and stir to combine. (Or you can alternatively mix in a food processor.)

3. Press into the casserole pan into an even layer.
 
4. In a microwave-safe bowl, place the chocolate chips and heat in 25 second bursts. Stir in between each heating until fully melted.

5. Pour the melted chocolate over the peanut butter layer and smooth out with an offset spatula.

6. Place in the refrigerator to set for 2 hours or overnight.
 
7. Cut into 9 squares and serve or package.
