What's the difference between a Pork Steak and a Pork Chop
Pork Chops are usually lean cut from the loin section of the hog. They have little intramuscular fat.
Pork Steaks, aka blade steaks, are succulent and have a large amount of intramuscular fat, and is cut from the butt and shoulder section of the hog. They are also budget-friendly and loaded with big flavor.
If you want to spend more, the pork chops will cost you more.
How to Cook Pork in the Oven
Preheat the oven to 350 and line a baking sheet with foil.
Place the pork steaks on the prepared baking sheet and brush both sides with Worcestershire sauce.
Season both sides of the steaks with seasoning salt, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes.
Bake in the preheated oven for 35 minutes, then remove the pan and drain the excess liquid.
Brush both sides of the steaks with BBQ sauce and cook under the broiler for 3 to 5 minutes, until sauce begins to bubble.
Remove from oven and serve with a side dish and mashed potatoes.
