You can tell Christmas is coming when we start thinking of what cookies we will be making for the cookie exchange. The Chewy Chocolate Peppermint Cookies is just one of the many easy cookies we like to take with us.
Not only are they easy, but everyone loves them. Even the kids. So let's start baking and planning for Christmas. Of course you can change out the chocolate that you dip them in and make them green or red or even purple if you want. 😉Candy Cane Cookies Ingredients
- Butter, softened
- Sugar
- Egg
- Vanilla
- Flour
- Cocoa Powder
- Baking Powder
- Salt
- Wilton White Chocolate Melts
- Peppermint Extract
- Mini Candy Canes, crushed
- Candy Cane Sprinkles

How to Make Peppermint Christmas Cookies
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a mixing bowl, beat the butter and sugar.
Add in the egg and vanilla and beat well.
In a small bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder. Add it into the sugar mixture and mix until combined well.
Use a cookie scoop to drop cookie dough onto cookie sheets and bake for about 8-10 minutes.
Cool the cookies completely.
Melt the white chocolate per package directions and dip each cookie into the chocolate until coated halfway.
Put 2 candy cane sprinkles on the white chocolate and sprinkle crushed candy canes around on the chocolate. Let harden.
Pretty and scrumptious cookies for any holiday party!

Instructions
