This allows you to enjoy the flavors of pizza without all the carbs and gluten. This recipe is a great guide, but you could actually use whatever kinds of cheese, meat, and vegetables you want for the toppings.
You could also add whatever spices you like to add more flavor. Play around until you find the perfect combination that your family loves. If you’re trying to live gluten-free or low-carb, you can still enjoy the foods you love.

How to Make a Keto Zucchini Pizza
Preheat oven at 400°F.
Using a slightly greased baking tray, lay zucchini slices and season with onion powder, garlic powder, sage, salt and black pepper. Drizzle with olive oil. Roast for 5 to 8 minutes.
Combine pizza sauce ingredients – pizza sauce, sage, oregano and basil.
In a 9-inch pie pan, start to layer the ingredients.
Start with spreading 2 to 3 tablespoons of pizza sauce mixture, lay zucchini slices, spread pizza sauce, top with pepperoni slices then sprinkle grated mozzarella cheese.
Repeat layers.
Before adding the top most layer of zucchini, sprinkle cheddar cheese.
Add the last layer of zucchini slices, cover completely with mozzarella cheese and top with the remaining pepperoni slices.
Bake for 25 minutes or until cheese is slightly golden in color.
Cool for 3 to 5 minutes, garnish with minced parsley, serve and enjoy!
NOTES :
In place of Pizza Sauce, opt to use tomato sauce, pasta sauce or canned tomatoes then season.
The Zucchini Pizza can also be made over the campfire in a cast iron skillet. I have not made it that way yet but when I do I will update the post.
