A blast from the past thanks to Basic Fun Toys. A classic toy from the 80's, and one that was on the list of "must have toys", the Pound Puppies are back with authentic reproductions. I still have my original puppy. My mom had my pound puppy still sitting in her kitchen three years ago and I adopted it back, lol.

I was so excited to see one in my Sweet Suite @ Home swag box from The Toy Insider. This is one of the toys included in our Giving Christmas Away Event.

These are just like everyone remembers, they're ready to be adopted and loved by you.

Available in six different puppies, black, dark brown, brown with dark brown spots, gray with light brown spots, white with black spots, and white with brown spots. We received the Black one.

About the Newborn Puppies

Each Pound Puppies Newborns come with a collectors sheet and adoption certificate so you can write in the name you choose for your new pet!

The removable diaper is a cute idea.

And just like the original batch, they have the big eyes, hard nose, sappy smile, and the classic red collar. (someone thinks it's for them!)

They are soft and cuddly and can be carried around in the pet-carrier shaped box that they come in. Made for boys and girls ages 3 and up. They don't have to see the doctor, but if you go to the doctor you can take him with you.

They are small enough to take along, whether in the back seat, in their backpack or cuddle with no matter where they are. The Newborn Puppy is about the size of my hand so you can get an idea of how big it is. The newborn puppies are approximately 8 inches long. If you are looking for a bigger size, the regular Pound Puppies are approximately 17 inches long.
