Cut Your pumpkin into quarters.
Place them flesh down on a parchment paper lined baking sheet.
Bake in a 350-degree F oven for 1 - 2 hours. The cooking time will depend on how big your big pumpkins are.
Once done, place on a wire rack to let cool.
Remove the pumpkin flesh with a spoon and place it in a food processor.
Measure out your pureed pumpkin into a small bowl for the amount needed.
If this is your first time making homemade puree, you will be surprised at how easy it really is.
How to Make the BEST White Pumpkin Pie
Preheat the oven temperature to 370 degrees Fahrenheit.
Blind bake the crust for 10-12 minutes. You can add pie weights to the center of the pie if you have them.
