That all changed when I discovered strawberry vinaigrette salad dressing.
This delicious dressing is easy to make, and it's low in calories, so it's perfect for those times when I'm watching my weight.
But the best part about strawberry vinaigrette salad dressing is the flavor.

The strawberries give the dressing a sweetness that offsets the tartness of the vinegar, while the olive oil adds a richness that takes the flavor to another level.

What is Strawberry Vinaigrette Made Of
- Frozen Strawberries unsweetened, thawed
- Lemon Juice
- Sugar
- Apple cider vinegar
- Olive Oil
- Poppy Seeds

Strawberry Dressing Substitutions
- You can substitute 2 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup in place of the sugar if you prefer.
- White vinegar can be used in place of apple cider vinegar if you don't have any.
- Use lime juice instead of vinegar.
- 8 oz. of fresh berries rather than frozen can be used.
When the strawberry season is here, I like to cut up a bunch of strawberries and mash them with a pastry blender.
I then put them in the freezer in separate containers so that I have them for recipes like this or fresh strawberry shortcakes with ice cream.

In a steady stream, gradually add Apple cider vinegar and Olive oil until thickened.
Stir in the poppy seeds.

- 6 Tablespoons of Lemon Juice
- ¼ cup of Sugar
- 2 Tablespoons of Apple cider vinegar
- 2 Tablespoons of Olive Oil
- ⅛ teaspoon of Poppy SeedsPuree your strawberries in a blender.
