- Depending on the size of your air fryer, you will want to make sure it's going to fit. I can fit up to a 3 lb. roast in my 8 qt. Ninja Foodi.
- Try to cut all your vegetables the same size for more even cooking.
- Let your lamb leg roast rest once removed from the air fryer. It helps to seal in the juices.
- Add carrots to one side of the lamb and the potatoes to the other for a complete meal.

How to Make Air Fryer Roasted Lamb
Quarter your side for bite-size pieces.
Mix the spices.
Place the lamb roast in the center of the air fryer basket.
Throw your side vegetables in surrounding the roast.
Cover the roast and side vegetables with the oil and season generously with the spices both the lamb and side vegetables.
How Long to Cook Roast Lamb in Air Fryer
Cook at 375°f for 15 to 20 minutes or until your desired cook temperature is reached. The meat will continue to cook as it rests so remove it from the heat 5° out from the desired temp.
Temps are as follows:
- Rare: 110°f
- Medium rare: 120°f
- Medium: 145°f
- Medium well to well: 150°f or higher. USDA recommends not cooking lamb past medium as it becomes dry and tough to eat.
Remove the lamb to rest and let it cool before slicing. Cooling allows the juices to settle. If you cut too soon, you will lose flavor.
If side vegetables need further cooking, continue to cook while the lamb rests.
Enjoy with mint jelly or your favorite sauce.
In Conclusion
Isn’t it great that there is now an even easier way to roast meat that still yields delicious results?
If you haven’t tried air frying your next roast, I highly recommend it. It’s quick and easy, and cleanup is a breeze.
